Our research

People are living longer, and it's changing the way we live and work. Through our research, we want to help governments, businesses and individuals around the world understand what this means for them.

By 2050, it is expected that emerging markets could increase five-fold, and could be even bigger than the developed world. In The World in 2050, we explore how this could affect the economic might - and potentially the political clout - of small-population, ageing, rich economies in Europe.

The Future of Retirement is the world's largest study of attitudes towards ageing, longevity and retirement. It's conducted in association with the Oxford Institute of Ageing, a multidisciplinary institute at Oxford University, and leading global research company Harris Interactive.
